1)For more transparency and to have a fair playing field for all participants, all results by polling boxes should be published for local, general elections and referendums like this is the case in Scotland.
2)All contributions over a certain amount (let say 50 pounds) to a political party should be put on a database with the postal code of the donor for example.
3)Postal voting should be restricted only to those who live aboard. Instead a number of advance polling days should be allocated by having polling stations in places such as libraries, shopping centres and train stations.
4)Political advertising should be accessible in a shorter timeframe (in 30 seconds adverts).
5)In some very close results there should be the possibility to do a judicial recount after election day by petition.
