Let say you live in Bearskin Lake or Fort Severn, both communities (along with some others) in Northern Ontario only accessible by air all year round, the vast majority of food products need to be exported from elsewhere by air. Of course, everything there that needs to be imported will be pricier than Down South. In her last budget, Premier Wynne wants to makes thing worse.
The Wynne governement wants to impose a new tax on air fuel. Of course, this will have massive effects for those living in those (mainly Native) communities in order to make the cost of living problem worse. Both for food, for air transport and for almost everything including fuel which is already taxed a lot.
This is called making an already bad situation worse.
